The YMCA contacted us to assist a Mother and her two kids. The items can be new or gently used, except for the bedding, we’d like to give them new bedding. The kids are a 7-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.
Place donations in the gym by March 1st. We will have a table set up for this collection.

Meal Sign up for the Ottesens.
The Ottesens are a family of four, with no allergies or food restrictions. The whole family has to quarantine for three months due to non-COVID medical issues.
As a church family, we want to support them by offering meals. You can either bring a cooked meal (or frozen, ready-to-cook meal) or send a gift card to a local restaurant.
Gift cards can be mailed to their home so they are received around the date for which you signed up.
Meals can be brought to their home between 5:30 and 6 PM. We can put the food on the porch and ring the doorbell. The goal is a no-contact delivery.
Thank you for supporting this family!
Do you have a ministry group that wants to meet via Zoom. We now have three Zoom accounts that we can use for simultaneous meetings.
Fill out the Zoom Request form. click on "Submit" at the end of the form. This will email the completed form to the secretary. You will also receive a copy of your submitted form.
You may also contact the office for a hard copy of the form.
Be a part of our virtual services. You can sign up to read the Lessons or the Prayers of the Church for a service. You can also be behind the scenes and Cantor or be an Audio/Video operator. Cantors do not have to be in the Choir, or on Worship Team. There is training available for A/V operators.
Most people record their reading on their smart phone, and email mail it directly to be added to the service.
If you would like to read, but do not have a recording method, contact the volunteer coordinator via email and they will make arrangements to have you record your reading. The week you are to read, an email will be sent to you with an upload link. After your recording is complete, simply click on the link in your email, and attach your video file.
In cooperation with Sherman Lake YMCA and the South Michigan Food bank, Price of Peace is a food distribution site. We are extending the food distribution through the winter. We will have the distribution November through March on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Sherman Lake will provide two people to assist with the administrative work for the distribution. We need four volunteers every week to assist with the distribution. This is a drive up distribution. Contact with individuals will be kept to a minimum.
If you would like to help with the birthday card ministry to our PoP family, please sign up to address and sign cards for one month. Tamara will provide the monthly address list and stamps. Pick up the materials two weeks prior to the start of the month.
Cards will be signed on behalf of the "Prince of Peace Family". We have a supply of cards appropriate for children, teens, women and men.
